Mark S. Feldman, M.D.

Dr. Feldman is a life-long resident of Florida and received his B.S. and M.D. degrees from the University of Miami. Following medical school graduation in 1961, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. After a course in Basic Ophthalmic Sciences at Harvard, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at The Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Feldman is fellowship trained.

A year-long fellowship at the Proctor Foundation in San Francisco prepared Dr. Feldman to treat, correct, and manage diseases affecting the external eye, especially the cornea, including various refractive eye surgery procedures.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Feldman’s professional affiliations include membership in the Academy’s Refractive Surgery Interest Group, Broward County Medical Association, Broward County Ophthalmology Society, Miami Ophthalmology Society, and Proctor Fellows' Association.

Since performing Broward County’s first-ever refractive eye surgery in 1981, Dr. Feldman is closely involved with all the recent developments in refractive surgery including LASIK, LASEK, and CK, the new procedure for middle-aged people who want to rid themselves of reading glasses.
